Experience

Alan Lingley has been closely involved with the Play Inspection Company since its formation, and has also worked as a Play equipment sales agent whilst building his knowledge of children's play.

Prior to this Alan worked for 10 years as a lithographic printer, completing a four year apprenticeship and obtaining a City and Guilds certificate. It was here that Alan developed his keen eye for detail, and triggered his interest in Health and Safety having been the department representative for this covering over 100 people.

Alan qualified as an RPII Annual inspector of Indoor Fully Enclosed Play Equipment in 2007 and is a qualified Annual Inspector of Children's Outdoor Playgrounds since 2009. Alan is also currently working towards his Nebosh certificate in Health and Safety.

Hobbies / Interests

Alan is a devoted family man, with two young daughters. In his spare time he is a keen athlete, recently completing his first half marathon as well as being an enthusiastic participant in country sports.
